Ball in the House is an R&B/soul/pop a cappella group based out of their hometown of Boston, MA. With their extensive tour schedule (approx 150 shows a year), Ball in the House has performed all over the country at theaters, clubs, schools, and festivals. They have performed with such artists as The Beach Boys, Fantasia, The Jonas Brothers, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, Jessica Simpson, Blondie,The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, KC & The Sunshine Band, and numerous others. For six years Ball in the House were the voices behind the Kraft Cool Whip commercials. Ball in the House has appeared on The TODAY Show, America's Got Talent, The Daily Buzz, and the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade. The Boston Globe says of the group, "Ball in the House has everything you would expect to find in a successful pop/R&B band...the one thing it doesn't have is instruments."
In 2009, Oprah Winfrey recognized Rob Surette as one of the most amazing artists in the world. Not just because of his talent and creativitiy, but because of the heart and intent behind his masterpieces.
The theme of all Rob's work is to offer people a powerful, inspirational lift as they journey through life.
In 2012, The Walt Disney Company also recognized Rob as one of the most gifted artists living today. Not just because of his self-taught skill as a painter, couple with his endless creative concepts, but his ability to reach people's hearts and full up the emptiness they have inside.
And now for the 22nd year in a row, Rob offers schools the ability to hire him to perform his inspirational, 60 minute " Be Somebody" school assembly.

A show which meets the deeper needs of kids, helps them make sense of the world, and fill the emptiness which many kids have inside.
The award-winning "BE SOMEBODY!" show has reached over 875,000 audience members, to date. It's a performance which celebrates: hisotry, science, social studies, literature, art, music, athletics, drama, as well as concepts of health, peace, prosperity, self-esteem, self-empowerment and caring. Simply put, this show gets kids excited about being alive and tries to inspire them to be their "BEST SELF".
Rob Speed-paints vairious heros from humanity on gigantic canveses as a launching platform to teach kids how they can be great too. Rob ceates various other pieces during the show (besides painting) with markers, pencils, video projection and he speaks in a very strong, yet sweet way with the audience, in between segments.
